What would it be like if you made a used car dealer/showroom?
This random idea came to my mind, and I want to know: What would you do if you decided to start a used car dealer with a budget of GBP £15,000?

Here are the main rules:
  • NO GOING OVER BUDGET. If you are unsure of how much your cars will cost, get a calculator.
  • Car prices are to be in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). If the cars you are using have their prices listed in other currencies, you can use a currency converter.
  • Importing is permitted. If you want to start a JDM dealer, that's fine by me. You can take cars from importer's websites (such as GooNet Exchange) or Japanese used car retailers (such as Gazoo U-Car). Disregard importing fees: Just take the price of the car.
  • You do not have to pay for the showroom, I will pay the fees for the showroom: All you have to pay for are the cars.
Here's some notes:
  • Try to list the cars for sale like a newspaper ad/flyer/Auto Trader. This will make it look more authentic.
  • Remember to list car prices.
  • And most of all... be creative! Try coming up with a unique idea: Sell cars that aren't a common sight at used car dealers, have a main theme to the cars (classic, JDM, eco, etc.), or just leave it up to yourself!
I'd love to see what you do!

I don't get it. What is this thread about?

We pretend to run a dealership and sell cars? How does that work? Is it a game? Do we win?

Yes. You make a fictional used car dealer with a £15,000 budget, and I will give out "money" for more cars to add to the showroom if I like the cars. The cars I like: That's a secret. You'll have to find out!
budget of GBP £15,000?
Correct. If I like your showroom and your cars, I will give out "money" so that you can expand on the showroom.

So basically it is a guessing game on which cars you like and which you don't? That is going to last long.
