Creating Thumbnails for your whole garage?

OK so I have had the privilege of my PS3 YLODing which in turn caused it to corrupt my HDD....YAY :sarcasm: Now that I have everything working again I was wondering if there was any way of creating thumbnails for your whole garage without pressing triangle on each car. It wouldn't be so bad if I only had 50 or so vehicles, but my number is somewhere near 1,060 cars. Some "little" thumbnails are there, but if you hit the square button a couple times to get the "bigger" ones none of them exist. I was just wondering if someone found an "easier" way of doing this and I thank you in advance for your help.

P.S. - I have searched here and Google and I could not find an answer to this specific question, so I apologize if this has been asked before and can only asked to be linked to the site source. Thanks again.
 
I did not find a way to do it when I upgraded from a fat to a slim PS3. Some of the thumnails where there but others were not, and some of the thumbnails were incorrect for painted cars.

Fortunately I only had about 600 cars in the garage then. It was a case of a few every time I checked the garage....

I was afraid of this answer, but assumed with no other evidence that this was the only answer. Thanks.
 
Just do a few each day. Soon enough you'll get them all back.

Right but as stated in the OP I lost all of my data from that HDD, but I saved my GT5 save on a thumbdrive before the HDD went corrupt. So now I have a reformatted HDD with no previous data of except for my game save, which does not contain the thumbnail images of my cars. Now I have 1060 "blank" thumbnails that I have to click triangle and "create thumbnail" on. Pretty daunting task if you ask me.
 
This is certainly a serious bug that should be addressed in an update to GT5. They should either add an option to create thumbnail pics for the entire garage or fix disappearing thumbnail pics in the first place.
