Credit to drop next week?

So much of the early feedback to PD was that some cars are too expensive and the levelling system is too slow. Hence the seasonal events being dumbed down so that people can get easy XP and Credits and the regular event credit being "increased for January".

What is the likelyhood now that the higher Cr announced for January will be rolled back to the previous levels next week?

Should PD forget about the previous event Cr levels and leave them as they are or should we build up our banks up now before it goes back?

Any thoughts?

I would appreciate them staying as they are now.

It took me 5 weeks in total to save for an FGT and a Mazda 787b because I have a career, girlfriend, friends and relatives to share time with too. 5 weeks! Damn.

If the Seasonal Events update as quick as they have, I don't mind if they went back to normal. I mean ever since the Seasonal Events have been updating, I've never really grind for cash anymore.

Btw, XP never changed.

"Btw, XP never changed."

Thanks daus26, i wasn't sure about this so i'll edit my OP.

Exp could be dropped down drastically, for example if in one race you can gain 4400 exp then you could have just half of that, why in every 4 minute you can grind so much exp? In endurance races where is a lot more to cut back, for example one race is four and a half million exp points ??? Thats ridiculous, only 1 mln would be enough

Yeah, that's Le Mans Sarthe @ Lvl 35 but in fairness to get to the next endurance race (Lvl 40 Nurburgring 24h) you need to earn (assuming you start a Lvl 35 0 EXP) a total of 19.1 million (+ change) to even unlock the event.

There's no way I'm going to do the equivalent of 19 x 24 hr Sarthe (based on your 1 million request) race to grind the final event.

PD screwed the pooch in their game development of GT5, and now they're scrambling to enhance game experience.....

Grinding races to get experience necessary to proceed in leveling up is ludicrous.....

I dont have a problem with the current amount of credits but the XP is pretty retarded IMO

It wouldn't surprise me if PD left the increased credits just the way they are. It doesn't matter much anyway - it wasn't that big of an increase, and the ludicrous amounts of credits and exp you get in the seasonal events pretty much renders it insignificant anyway.

Nothing will probably "drop" until we get next functionality-update, scheduled for February.

Although the details about it are scarce (we only know about final implementation of WGT Anywhere" functionality), it is reasonable to think that many fields of the game will get an overhaul.

What they have to do is raise it more, because is insane the amount of XP we need to get level 40 in A + B Spec.
