Here we have a racing "game" that claims to be a simulator. Where is the simulation in the purchasing system?
$250 for an oil change, $35,000 for racing tires...
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a lot of the aspects of GT5 but the purchasing system speaks "game" all the way. In the case of the racing softs, if the developers wanted to discourage their use, just limit the advantage by increasing the competition. They could have easily limited the rewards and make the purchasing system more real-world.
Very small rant!
