Well, my mom got this Crest toothpaste and SpinBrush combo, and since I like gadgets and stuff, I decided to use it.

First off, this package was written first in Spanish, then in English, which seems fishy(Mexico stuff I bet).

Then I turn it on. I look at the spinning part, and I was like "cool!". Then I put tooth paste on it, and turned it on to see if it would fling it all over the place, but it didn't. Quite odd I though, after all it is the SPINbrush. Then I look closer. Something looks like it's not spinning here. So I grab one of the brissles, and turn it on. For some odd reason, the brissles aren't leaving my fingers.

Then I realize the sad truth. The "SpinBrush" shouldn't be called a spinbrush at all, more of an ocelating brush. Then I examine the amount of ocelating action it does, and conclueded that the center air vents in both my bro's MX-6 and 626(automatic ocelating vents. They are also a feature on newer 626s as well) move more side to side then this toothbrush, which is sad. I doubt that this brush moves more than 5 degrees each way, which makes me wonder if it's actually better than a regular brush, and well, it is, but marginally.

This was depressing me, so I had to get it out. Hopefully next time you see it, you'll just pass it up for false-advertisement.

I, I feel better now that the sad truth is out.

Thankyou.

It's in times like these i wish we could put moderators on the ignore list...

Well I'm sorry Fred, but this is vital info to know for your own protection as a consumer.

:)

Thanks Warran!

- I am inclined to agree with PR I wish I couldn't blocked this message but thats mean!

Anyway........does your family share toothbrushes :odd:

I havent ever seen a spinning brush. They just shake from side to side, just like the one i bought a while back.

I like my tooth brush. Less work for me.

Exactly what I was thinking!

I knew it went back and forth as opposed to spin but I don't really care. I'll stick with my good old classic one thanks.

Maz,
Due to my natural curiosity I stuck a short length of floss in the bristles of one of those "new-fangled" teethbrushes and found out the same thing.

A lot of electric brushes come with multiple different color coded tips(brushes) so more than one person can use the same brush. Weird, though, and kind of gross.

I have some Braun plak control ultra electric toothbrush, and I couldn't care less that it doesn't spin. It gets the job, of brushing my teeth, done.

So does the free, old school brush my dentist gives me everytime i go to his office... Why bother paying 15$ for a toothbrush?

Actually the brush part is attatched to a 3 or so inch piece of plastic that attaches to the rest of the brush, so...unless you like to deepthroat your toothbrush...you'd be pretty safe.

Why bother driving to the dentist, and getting that free brush, when you could just use your finger?:odd:

The only reason I have a $20 toothbrush is because my Dad offered to buy it for me. I'd used normal brushes for 16 years, and could've kept using them for...ever.

Nah, i use my toes. :p

Which reminds me i need a new toothbrush... had this one for a good while now. :odd:

Maz,
I did exactly the same thing when I got mine. I was expecting the toothpaste to fling off the brush and when it didn't I grabbed a brissles. I still use it because it's easier than the old way.

Warran? Huh?

No, we don't share this tooth brush or any tooth brush. It's all mine.

Atleast some people agreed with me, while others thought it was a waste of a post. You read it didn't ya?!

Heh. :)

I simply had to add this image.

The Japanese are good for inventing things which, at first glance may seem good, but when you think about it are pretty stupid.

Making someone dreams come true. Sure it starts with a simple toothbrush, but soon, you will be able to plug all your bathroom eletronics into your computer. Can't wait to see the hairdryer with a USB port plug on it. ;)

You wouldn't have to worry about universal power point adaptars when travelling overseas...

Unless you don't have the poper plug for your computer to plug into. I would think a hair dryer would drain the computers battery pretty fast.

Oh yeah of course, but no need for multiple power point adaptar plugs.

I could just imagine a laptop with a huge hulking generator poking out the back charging the battery while someone is drying their hair.

LMAO, you know, there's gonna be some idiot using the USB brush and water and next thing you know their PC shorts out.

Chris, I got a hobby, making you post about this stupid crap. And it worked!

Warren - is a name I use to call some one when they say something completely irrelevant, eg. Your post.

– I do apologise for calling you Warran, which was mean to be Warren and also supposed to be Ryan so please do excuse me.

Thank you every so much.

- WARREN................I mean Ryan
