What exactly is required of you to reach 100%?

Do you need all golds on the license tests?
Do you need all golds on the time trials?
Do you need to beat arcade?

Pretty much what can't you do and still reach 100%?

Please help as I am new and obsessed...

I'm at 60.3% and I have 100 cars...my best being the F090/s and the Gt-one road car and the 787B...I finally got my S license! :nervous: :cheeburga :D

Wow...big question.

You don't need all golds on the licenses to get 100% - you need to do:
- arcade races (you only need to beat the hard level for each race - once you have an F1 and a decent rally car you're set)
- time trials (all gold)
- Gran Turismo races (all gold)

From where you are, do Arcade (take your F1 and do the races on hard level only - counts as three wins) and your percentage will climb very quickly.

Be warned, though - the time trials are quite hard.

If you were an absolutely brand new player to the GT series, I would almost recommend doing the time trials first, via the 'study the replay' method, as you would learn the cornering techniques you need more quickly.

I thinnk that you should do the Arcade first because in my mind, it is the easiest to do. YOu don't need any licences and you can use any car own.

Well, it's easy with an F1 car!

To win the Panoz, do you need to complete Arcade or Time Trial?

I think it's the Time Trials ... as I don't have one yet (:

Well, the Panoz Esperante would be a handy car to start Gran Turismo mode in, ya?

I would suggest this for the best start from scratch.
- complete Time Trial mode, win Panoz
- go to Gran Turismo mode, get licenses (just get them, don't chase gold)
- if you're good enough to get the time trials, you'll win the vast bulk of races in GT mode in your Panoz. Win Enduros until you win an F1 car
- with your F1 car, defeat as much of the arcade mode as you can

and go from there! Haven't had to buy a car, and you've got an F1 car and an Esperante! Nice!

More on this later, but we've discussed beating the game without spending any credits. It's ALMOST possible ... except for a few of the special courses.

I'm out ... later duders.

Oh - I was just talking about getting a quick start, rather than struggling with a 10k clunker for about a month.

There's only one reason they give you money - to spend it!!!

Ha ha ... but after you beat the game, it's fun to find new challenges.

True enough - and the thing with GT3 is you can only win the most interesting cars, you can't buy them...

That's another thing that I've been thinking pretty hard about. After I'm done with the game, there are spacific cars I'd like to have, and I might just try to get all the ones out there that are obtainable. Nah ... too much work (:
