Hello, i know many GtPlanet members will have massive TV's, Racing seats, surround sound and frex/custom modded DFP's complete with wahtever else you may be able to think of. However i'm sure im not alone in having a 'less than perfect' (major understatement!) setup.

As you may be able to see my driving force pro is attached to a the armrest of a folding wooden deck chair with the backrest removed. It works suprisngly well and was good enough to guide me to gold in the 10 lapper and Evo8 MR chaleengers in GT4:P (the rest were done with my now sold Driving Force standard and lap attachent)

Please post what you think of my 'creation' and post pictures or explain your crude setup if you have one.

I was considering a build like that after finding some random wood lying around from some shelves. Couldn't get permission of parents to use it though. Anyway then i found my folding chair. The lower cross support is a pain while trying to get in and out but doesn't actually get noticed while driving. I have considered sawing it off but it could compromise the structural integrity of it, besides parents again dont like tyhe idea of me sawing up one of thier garden chairs (even though it's a spare! :irked: )

--EDIT-- The pic is fuzzy becuase i only used a phone camera to take it. Much like the stand it's not the ideal solution but it does the job!
 
With Eagle's suggestion, this thread may as well be dead soon, if not later. Can't comment on it much, though. Talk about it on the thread Eagle searched for.
 
My cockpit consists of an ironing board with the DFP attached and my sofa...
 
Mine consists of me sat on a dog basket with Dual Shock in hand. :(
 
There are so many innovative ideas that we apply to playing this game, you all amaze me. With millions of past GT players about to come out of the closet and all of the new GT4 players, there will be tonnes more.
