S4RINGS
I done some research and can't seem to find a clear answer as to what the brake dial knob is used for. I've had my CSP's since GT5's launch and I have fiddled with the knob since then and havn't noticed any difference. Someone care to explain what I would use it for/how to use it.

Thanks.👍

it affects how much pressure is necessary for certain braking force, try it out in free play and the more clockwise you turn it, the less pressure you need to get to 100%, the more you turn it counter clockwise the harder it takes to get to 100% or you may not at the most counter clockwise, i'm not quite sure.

Pretty much what was said above with one caveat. The load cell will only take so much pressure. Say you put 100% load on the cell, spinning the knob can make it to were the game will register 0-100% brake force but you can also tweak it to where you only need 0-100% load on the cell to register 100%(. Well maybe not quite 100% but you can certainly tweak it to where you dont have to apply any pressure and just the load from the springs will cause the game to register the brake. Like mentioned its best to test out in practice mode. I personally run somewhere in the 50% range on the dial. Basically requires some force but Im not crushing the pedal.

It change the resistance in the break 'circuit'. What it does is change the signal for all break pedal position. I have not changed the firmware for my pedals and for me i cannot have 100% breaking in gt5 unless its fully winded up.
