Hey folks, looking for a little insight here.

Bought new in August.

CSR Elite works flawlessly with GT5/PS3.

When playing Forza, if I turn slightly to the left or right, it just shuts off.
I restart, rinse and repeat.
I'm running all 000 settings, except FF on 50.

Any ideas?

Thanks Mykem.
Although that appears to be a force feedback issue dealing with the dashboard update.
The thread has gone cold 8/2/12. I'll contact Fanatec today!

Still no reponse from Fanatec or Microsoft. No one else has had this issue?

Does this only happen in Forza?
What about when in the dashboard menus?

Also your explanation is a little vague.
Does the wheel disconnect? Or just lose feedback?

It happens only when the wheel is turned in FM3/FM4.

The wheel actually powers down, turns off.

FF works fine until the wheel turns off.

I will try turning it in the dashboard menus.

Hmm I know of the dashboard update problems but they won't power off your wheel mate.
I don't think anyway.

As a side note to those who suffer the dreaded Xbox update. You need to check the guide button.

Press guide button to bring up the menu.
Top right of menu shows controller/headset connections.
Sometimes the wheels will show up as a controller. If that happens you will have FF issues etc.
restart your wheel and check the guide menu until the controller icon no longer appears.
Then you should have no issues.

Hope that helps others.

*Update*

I installed firmware update 750B, using driver 140.

It now works on all platforms as it should.

FYI this was an issue with the previous dashboard update. MS decided to foul up the HID drivers on third party devices. Online was unplayable with a fanatec wheel. There was a beta out that fixed the issue about two months ago that fixed the issues, and, now that the dashboard update is live, everything should work as it should. How do you like the new "beta" firmware?
