hey guys

i have just bought brand new Fanatec CSR elite pedal (with a 911 GT2 wheel) but i have an issue, when the pedals are plugged in, the brake pedal engages on and off continuously? throttle and clutch engage and work fine, iv tried different games and setups with no luck

wheel is connected to the ps3 via USB cable(wheel has worked perfect so far)

pedals are connected via PS/2 cable

i have emailed fanatec about the issue but i dont think i will hear back from them until next week on a workday, so thought i would just ask hear aswell, internet search didnt end up with a straight answer

thanks in advance guys

Wiggle and put pressure at the connections on the PS2 cables at both ends (wheel and pedals) then try switching PS2 cables out, those are notorious for going bad, and sometimes they get pulled or stepped on and can damage the cable connector. If you try a new cable (you can buy at radioshack for $7) and you still don't have luck, inspect the wiring and connnections to and from the load cell. If they look good, you might have a bad load cell...
I don't know, could also be a problem with a software setting or miscalibration, but thats a lilttle above my area of help

thanks for the reply mate, i appreciate the advice, i will see if i can get my hands on a new PS/2 cable, searching for info i noticed a lot of guys complain about the cable in general so that was first on the list to check, i hope its not a bigger issue as i just received them in the mail but cant play with the wheel because of it

ok guys i have tried a new PS/2 cable with no luck, it also seems its not just the brake pedal, all 3 pedals seem to play up a little, but mainly the brake pedal
