My csr elite pedals have recently stopped working. Throttle and clutch work fine, but my brake pedal gets no signal. Ive check for obvious cracks in the wires but nothing is visible. Any suggestions on what to do myself, because i really dont wanna wait around on a fanatec response. Plus i have these outside of the base and hard mounted.

Same thing happened to me. It turned out to be the plug that went into the wheel, one of the little rods was bent, so it wouldn't plug all the way into the wheel. I fixed it with tweezers and a screwdriver by bending it back to its correct place.

I'm using them with my PC in the usb slot so i can't be that, but thanks for the suggestion.

There is a little PC Board that the wires from each pedal plugs into. You'll have to remove the black square plate from underneath your pedal base to get to it, but it's just 4 screws. Look to see if the brake wire is loose. If not, then it may have an issue with the internal potentiometer. If the pedals are in warranty, Fanatec will ask that you make a video recording of the issue, so I'd suggest recording the issue, uploading the file to youtube and link to it in a support ticket.

I have the pedals off of there base and hard mounted as i have an original playseat model. There are no loose wires as i have the PCB velcroed under my base and i clean it out with compressed air once a week. Hopefully them being outside of there base and being hard mounted doesn't create a warranty issue.

This is how there setup.

I have my PC Board out in the open with my pedals directly mounted too. I just wouldn't mention it to Fanatec and if they need you to ship the pedals, you'll probably need to re-assemble them. When I had an issue with my CSR-E pedals, they advanced shipped me a set so I didn't have down time when I shipped my defective pedals.

But this issue looks to be something mechanical in the pedal itself : /
