Hi,

I'm having an issue with my CSR shifter where everytime my wheel reboots it losing the calibration. I didn't get a manual with the shifter (which was brand new from Fanatec direct) but I did read the instructions on how to calibrate on the web. What I am doing is;

1) switch the wheel on, don't make it go into any mode.
2) hold down start and tuning button until I get 6_n on the display.
3) press start with gear in neural then it changes to 6_r, move to reverse hit start and carry on through all the gears. (6_1, 6_2 etc)

Now the instructions i've read all say the screen should go blank after the calibration but mine doesn't - it stays on 6_6? Does that mean i am doing something wrong?

Many thanks,

It does the same exact thing on my Carrera wheel with the standard Fanatec 6 speed shifter. But it seems to still work perfect on every game though.

My standard shifter needs calibration every once in a while. If I haven't used it for a little while it needs it.

I've always done my calibration after going into one of the modes first. Perhaps try that?

desperado, you're supposed to choose a platform first:
1. Power on the wheel
2. Choose any platform mode (PS3/PC). Make sure your shifter is connected to
the wheel.

I think there needs to be a single, separate CSR setup/settings thread...preferably started by someone wiling to put in the time to keep it well organized.

Thanks for the advice everyone, after your comments still no joy (using pc/ps3 or Xbox mode) so I contacted Fanatec. Seems others are facing the same issue and they hope to fix it in a firmware update a some point in the future. Guess I just have to live with it for now, bit annoying but what can you do!
