CSR Wheel Help!

I got my new CSR and it only works WELL and gets connected to 1 game and works well with 2 including the one its detected in. The wheel is never detected and i cant play half the games i payed for, but works great with xbox.
HOw i turn it on
1.on botton
2.calibrated
3.i press the two arrow buttons the left and right one
4.makes a dot
5.try to play
 
Try going into wheel options in game.

Also you said you press the two arrow buttons, I take it you mean to get into PS3 mode is that right? If so you don't press the 2 arrow buttons, you press the left arrow button and the tuning button right next to it.
 
Left arrow + sync button to put in PS3 mode.

Pressing left and right arrow won't sync it right to a PS3......and hence your games won't work right.
 
Yes, make sure you're properly putting the wheel into PS3 mode first.


Also, just because the wheel isn't fully "detected" doesn't mean you cant use the wheel in-game. For example, Dirt 2 and 3, as well as F1 2010 and 2011. When you go to Controls, generally their is a profile setup for the Fanatec wheels, so you'll scroll through and see your fanatec wheel listed.

But not with the CSR Elite or regular CSR wheel.. However. doesnt matter. Just go to "Custom" and map the controls how you see fit for each thing. So like, obviously, for "turn left", select it and turn the wheel left. Accelerate, select it and push the gas pedal. And so on and so forth.

Personally, I have never once found a game with a pre-determined controls layout for ANY of my three fanatec wheels or my old logitech wheel, in ANY of the PC sims I run, or PS3 games that was how I wanted to use them. I always map the controls manually myself.
