I have a logitech G27 wheel and have recently wired my sequential shifter up to a Cthulhu board to use it with my PC (it was until recently hard wired into a DFGT).

I have one of the on wheel buttons on the G27 assigned to Push to Talk within teamspeak, this has been working fine up until now...

With the Cthulhu board plugged in when I press the button for push to talk it does not cancel...meaning my voice channel is always open...not ideal!

The buttons on the wheel work fine in game otherwise.... (race07)

When the Cthulhu board is unplugged the PTT button works as normal again...

Anyone got any ideas on how I can solve this problem? I'm running winXP btw.

Hmm, I have a Cthulhu board for my sequential shifter and havent ever had an issue like that.

Maybe try reassigning the button in the game when the cthulhu is plugged in?
or check in the windows game controllers settings for the Cthulhu to see if maybe some buttons is always on?
Or try unwiring the shifter from it (and anything else thats wired into it) to see if it still does it, or moving it to a new button.

Have you tried that button on similar functions in other games? (like something that only engages while holding the button down, like a horn or something.)

I'll investigate further tonight... The button on the g27 is showing as going on and off ok in the logitech profiler but when in teamspeak it does not cancel...

I did notice that I had forgotten to plug in the power to my usb hub which the cthulhu board/shifter is connected so that may be causing the problem.... if not I'll try wiring the shifter to different terminals on the board (the shifter is working fine otherwise in game and it works with my DFGT just fine)
