Is there a list of what cars meet the entry qualifications for each cup?
I searched but couldn't find anything.
I am about to race the "Lightweight Cup", but of course I need a qualified car.
For this particular Cup, they list the individual cars that qualify.
However, it is a pain to try and memories a few names at a time as I bounce back and forth to the used car lot. A reference list would be very helpful.
Then there are more ambiguous Cups like the Japanese Classics.
Rather than list the qualified cars, it tells you the year must be 1979 or older and the maker has to be from Japan.
But there is no way to filter by maker's country in the used car lot, and sometimes I'm not sure if a car maker is from the country I think when it comes to some of the old defunct companies.
Again, a specific list for reference would be quite helpful.

If nothing currently exists on the forum, I am willing to start putting them together here, but there is no reason to reinvent the wheel if someone else already has such lists posted.

Good idea, I need the same. Here's a list from memory, you need:

- an MX-5 of some sort (bought whatever I could for about 15,000)
- French hot hatch (207Gti worked for me)
- British hot hatch (the Focus doesn't qualify as British so I wasted money on that one)
- Italian hot hatch
- Japanese '90s hatch (you are given one as a prize car somewhere along the way)

The hatch things seem to be broken. The "European Hatch" I was allowed to drive an M3, which last I checked wasn't a hatchback.

You can click on the button on each race page and it will show you what cars to expect and what the requirements are. If it's not listed in the requirements, it's not a requirement, even if the name suggest that it is. Hatchback, for example, isn't a designation as part of the game, like FF, FR or whatever is, so it can't enforce that.

I drove it with a Nissan Silvia :D

I too would love a list to keep handy while scanning the used car lot. Another helpful thing would be the HP/KGS of the other cars so I can pick a fair fight. For example in the 90s Japan race I entered with old Skyline GT-R (R32?) that had 270HP, but your up against Civics, Celicas and others in the 150-170HP range so the race turned out to be a joke.

Still haven't found a list so I'm making my own. I'm only at level 17 so I'll need some help filling out the rest.

A few things that may help:

- Ferrari 512BB is ideal for some races in Amateur
- 207GTi works for the French Hot Hatch
- Mini works for British Hot Hatch (and there's a Mini race in Professional too)
- Sport Truck; you get a RAM 1500 for completing the 5th level of the Licenses in Bronze or better, although I bought a F150 from the secondhand car dealership
- Dodge Charger '70 works for the basic Muscle Car
- You get delivered a PDI Kart for the Kart Races
