Welcome to the
Cusco Dunlop Championship

General Information​

The Cusco Dunlop Championship is a one make and one model car series with no tuning allowed. This will allow for a fair and close championship that comes down to driver ability. This is the ideal series for drivers that want close racing but don't have much time to practice and get a car set up!​

How to Register​

Registration is simple, just PM me with your PSN and you'll be added to the driver list. This is the only way in which drivers can join the series, if your name isn't on the driver list, you will be unable to race.​

Time, Race Dates and Circuits​

All events will start at 9:30pm GMT+1 (British Summer Time)​

Pre-Season 1 - August 3rd 2012 - Road Course Indy
Pre-Season 2 - August 10th 2012 - Rome
Pre-Season 3 - August 17th 2012 - Cape Ring South

Round 1 - August 24th 2012 - Nürburgring GP/D
Round 2 - August 31st 2012 - Eiger Nordwand Short Track
Round 3 - September 7th 2012 - High Speed Ring
Round 4 - September 14th 2012 - Autumn Ring
Round 5 - September 21st 2012 - Tokyo R246
Round 6 - September 28th 2012 - Deep Forest Raceway

Your 5 best results will count towards the championship.
This will allow drivers to miss a race if they can't make it, or drop a round due to bad results.​

Point System​

1 Extra Point for Pole Position in Qualifying

3rd - 15
4th - 14
5th - 13
6th - 12
7th - 11
8th - 10
9th - 9
10th - 8
11th - 7
12th - 6
13th - 5
14th - 4
15th - 3
16th - 2

Even Format​

9:00 - 9:30 - Practice
9:30 - 9:50 - Qualifying (Track will be reset to clear Practice times)
9:50 - 10:00 - 10 Minute Break Before Race 1
10:00 - Race 1 - 6 Laps (Grid Position - Qualifying)
Race 2 - 6 Laps (Grid Position - Reverse Grid from Race 1)
Race 3 - 6 Laps (Grid Position - Reverse Grid from Race 2)
Race 4 - 10 Laps (Grid Position - Reverse Grid from Race 3) - Mandatory Pit Stop

A 5-10 minute break will be given between each race.

Car Specification

​

The car that will be used for this series is a Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza '08, this car will need to be run completely standard as the room settings will be set to 'tuning prohibited'. The only change that can be made to the car is the tyres that you use. Racing soft and mediums will be the two choices of compounds.

This car is available on the Dealership section under Subaru. The price of the car is £500,000


Driving Aids and Room Settings

All Driving aids will be banned apart from:

Driving Line and ABS

The room settings will be as follows:

Game Mode - Normal Race
Start Type - Grid Start
Boost - No
Automatic Race Start Cycle - Disabled
Visible Damage - On
Slipstream Strength - Weak
Grip Reduction on Wet Track/Track Edge - Real
Laps - 6 for Race 1, 2 and 3. Race 4 will be 10 laps
Grid Order - Race 1 will be based on qualifying. Races 2, 3 and 4 will be reverse grid based on previous race results
Penalty - Weak and also effective during free runs
Race Finish Delay - 30 Seconds
Mechanical Damage - Light
Tyre/Fuel Depletion - On​

Race Complaints​

All complaints need to be sent to the Cusco Dunlop Championship GT5 Account. All complaints will be investigated and then we will reply to you with our decision and the reasons for this.​
