Why don't the include this?
In order to quickly learn tracks and improve this should be a no brainer. Being able to choose the car, prepare for your gr4 etc
I was wishing for this day since one with gt1, so get it done PD.
It could work after you set a full lap, then go and select two points on track you want to practice. Then just rinse repeat till you rule the world. Obviously with this there will be no times for comparison but guess what you were born alone you'll die alone so get over it
 
Circuit experience.

Arcade mode custom race/time trial.

Utilise those two things and you can learn any track with any car and save your laptimes in each car locally (and the ghost of its best lap).
 
Mate you didn't tell me anything new.
The circuit experience very useful if you want to practice where you are slower and then try to integrate that into a full lap.
I'm not bad, I'm pushing 1.57 gr3 nurburgring but there's some way to go before you max out from what I've seen. Perhaps you're a perfect driver and are fast everywhere but me not, and this would definitely help for racing the other classes
