How awesome would it be able to upload your own soundtrack for racing? Anyone know if it's possible? I'd be all pumped up if I had some kind of metal, like Volbeat or Metallica playing while I race. Although it might make me too aggressive. But I mean having it play only for the individual to hear. Could this be a possibility in the future?

I did it via the Spotify app. Kind of wish there was a custom soundtrack option as in GT5.
 
In GT5 my custom soundtrack consisted of GT2's soundtrack including menu music. So I'm pretty happy with Sport (although the Cardigans 'my favourite game' and Stereophonics 'Bartender and the Theif' would be welcome additions).
 
Spotify and the USB player are nice but they play when the game is paused, during menus AND the mixing is way-way off. PD could implement a USB custom soundtrack. There are like 5 games that allow USB interfacing

Don't think it was implemented on the ps4 as it was on PS3. USB player got added as an app later on though. I do like a bit of metal myself but Crossfaith, Coldrain and The Gazette. Japanese metal.

Top tip (if you don't already know), go to Options/Sound Volume/BGM Playlist & select Transmission Mode, then it will only play older songs from past GT games.

Actually, that's wrong. It will play the older menu music from GT games as well as the new menu music.
