Custom Music will not work for me!

ok so when I go into the menu where you choose to select your custom music, I have a playlist made, I go to it, then choose the track, pick shuffle on the whole folder, then when I click ok, it just exits the box, and the option is not chosen and my songs do not show up! I have no idea what to do, ive tried a million different mp3's and its the same thing everytime!
 
Happened to me too, but assumed it was something I did wrong (still could be). It's not a big deal because the only reason I was doing it was for the Trophy that comes with doing it (which did pop up, just not the music).
