I got on GT5 today and i noticed my music wasn't playing so i went to settings and went to open the music folder and i got this weird error code.

"An Error Has Occurred. S-FFFFFFFF"

If anyone has any info that would be nice. The GTAuto,UCD, and Tuning Shop music is still playing, just not mine. No music in races either....

Help me......i got this too. i think the new patch has something to do with this

Mine hasn't been playing ever since Sony sent me a replacement PS3 (my last one got the YLOD). But i just put it down to me not reconfiguring it to run with the game yet.

Weird...

I've always had custom soundtrack on my GT5 copy and has never spawned any errors. Maybe it may have something to do with the media format you are using (given that the majority of the world uses MP3); I use ATRAC3 files for my soundtrack and has never spawned any error codes ever since I got this game last year...

Another possible case is that your installed game files may have some sort of corruption. I always used to crash when I tried to access the Course Maker, but when I reinstalled the game data, the problem went bye-bye (though in my case, formatting the HDD after a backup ACTUALLY did the trick)...

I'm getting this error too. Maybe I'll delete my install & re-install.

i had this error just now, all i done was save it and rr-started the playstation and its started working again

I had this problem too, but somehow it got solved during the night without me doing anything

I have this problem. It happens when I first start my PS3 and than GT5. Restarting GT5 fixes my issue. The weird part is that when I would play online I can join any room, but not the race. I get stuck in a black screen with only the map not able to watch or leave the race. This seams to happen the same time as the music bug, because once I restart GT5 I get my music back and the online thing does not happen anymore.

It happened to me as well. All I did was restart the PS3 and it was fine.
