Hey guys, this is my first post in this forum, and thought I'd share with you a model I recently finished. I was kinda disappointed when I bought the model for $30 and found out it had no engine. Oh well. Here are a few pics of it. Keep in mind this is the first model I have build in over 6 years. Edit: And it's not done yet. (The rear tail lights need to be done):sly:

The pics are way too big to post directly on here, so here are the links:

Nice, but it does have a few downsides, like where are the tailights?! Also, why wouldn't they want to model in the piece of art, we call the rotary engine? Another one, you got your thread title wrong, thats an FD3S not the FC3S.

As stated in my above thread, the tail lights are not there because the model is not completly done yet. ;)

And thanks for correcting on the FC part, I always screw them up when I'm in a hurry to post something... :yuck: :dopey:

Well like 99% of all kits (not ghey-a$$ die-casts) it's a curbside. Manufactures know that people are still going to buy the kit whether it has an engine or not.

If I would have known there was no engine, I wouldn't have purchased it. 👎 But, After a six year absence from building models, I think it came out ok.

I was looking at a metal SRT-4 model at Wal-Mart that came in a 3 model set, but the windows were tinted red. :yuck: Hopefully someone will release a nice plastic model of it soon....

I saw an Apexi D1 RX-7 die cast model at a Japanese car mod shop in the city. It had a tonnes of parts that you could add like alternate body kits, alloys, bonnets, seats and of course...a little rotary engine. I think it's made by Hot Works or something. It cost a retarded $100 AUD but in the U.S I saw that the same model can be bought for $22 USD.
