Seing as there was no D1GP event in USA last year, I think this is quite a good news. Hopefully the events will be more mediatised than they were in the previous years.

As big as D1GP can be in Japan, it looks like USA dont care about them and prefer their Formula D drifters. :dunce:
 
Hmm, If I get lucky, I might catch the Round in Philly. It's just a quick 3 hour drive from my house, no biggy. :dopey:
 
ohh man if they come to Dolphin Stadium i am THERE!!! Always wanted to make a D1 event, just couldn't get to Irwindale in California. I hope they do come and don't back out like they did last year, which they were supposed to come to Palm Beach. :indiff:
 
Money and lack of interest. With the new things they're doing this year, 2009 and going forward should prove interest.

I can't say that D1 is here to stay but, having already competed in a qualifier, I can say that it's an experience that I can't wait to do again.
