D1-Type thing in GT4?!

there will be more than just "race version" kits.The creator
said they are "hoping" to have individual peices like
bumpers.wings,hoods.But one thing I noticed is that
polophony is very "tight-lipped" about several aspects.
He used "maybe,hopefully&we'll see" a buunch
there is footage that was mentioned of a car going through
traffic while the crowd clapped.the creator said he wants
to use some sort of street mode.because of its
"sudden" popularity in the US.but when asked about it
he said "no comment"

If it was offline, would it be part of simulation mode? If it was then does that mean that anyone who wants to reach 100% is forced to learn how to drift?
