D1GP Drift Seasonal...

There's new seasonals with the update, and one of them is a "D1GP" event.

Don't get excited....it's still the same drift mode points clicker. However, it is held at Fuji, on the 2014 D1GP section. And only D1 cars are eligible.

As a prize, you get a whopping 3.4 million credits (with login bonus x5), and a shiny new Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo...the least drifty car in the game :lol:


It is interesting though, to see the D1GP name being brought up again by PD. Maybe there is hope :rolleyes:
 
So do you actually do the D1 Section or just drift through the section in reverse?

No, not in reverse. You drift in the track's forward direction.

I think you're thinking of the old Fuji D1 section (reverse through 130R).

The new Fuji D1 section is turn 2 (Coka-Cola) and the start of turn 3 (100R). It's pretty lame as a D1GP section IMO...but hey, what can you do :boggled: (same with the new Suzuka D1)

Ahh, I'm too old school when it comes to D1 sections :lol:
 
they arent using the d1 clipping points because they still want you to drift on the racing line which causes you to be a lawn mower way to often. if i do the correct clipping points i dont get any score

GT been like that since GT5. It's also annoying how you lose or not get a high score past the 45ْ angle point.

ive done all of the drift trials and they have all been the normal point scoring?
