There is a New Zealand drift team on the free lobby called D1NZ. One of their guys said they didn't have a GTP thread. Im wondering if anyone is apart of D1NZ or has seen their lounge. They have some fairly decent drivers on the team and run an open a lounge around 6:00pm - 8:00pm GMT+10 most nights

They drive RWD only and have Matte Purple and Green as team colours like team Burst.

I've seen them, I don't bother joining though because they just kick everyone.

Really? They didn't ever kick me out-oh, Its for Australians and Kiwis only. I believe your from Britain so they wouldn't be interested in you

That's a bit prejudice though isn't it, I can understand them being a Aus/Kiwi team, but if they have an open lobby they should let anybody drift with them (unless they're french, nobody likes the french :sly:).

No dude these guys are the bomb insane rotary eastslider couple more of them. they do things the right way give people a chance to not be jackoffs and if they do, be jackoffs that is, the almighty boot goes into effect after fair verbal warning... definately a double thumbs up for these guys he even gave me the matte purple because i love purple cars. Does that sound like a predjudice team to u? I just rock it with orange rims not part of the team tho haha. Another point im a Japanese with an american flag i think thats safe to say they dont hate everyone... or mabey i just impressed them with my awesome drofting or super good looks XD
 
yeah I always drift with them, they never kick good drifters and are friendly towards other teams (im WSR btw). foreigners are fine also.
 
I guess I was never kicked and never do get kicked because I was up to their standard. I'm friends with 2 of them on psn
 
Their lounge sometimes disconnects me but when insane is hosting its fine
 
Yeah I see these guys often, they're pretty good. Usually insane rotary is lobby leader.
 
They arent Aus/NZ only rooms. I bumped into Jimmy of Dmax in one of them. I have also seen everything from spaniards to russians in there. I go in there quite frequently I the only reason I have seen them kick someone for is because they were in an AWD (Pre-2.0) They usually host pretty alright, most of the time Ive seen them on Fuji doing the D1 section and provided everyone stays off the track on the return, everything runs smoothly and there is some pretty tight tandems.
 
Yeah the rooms are hosted alright, sometimes they are a bit scruffy but I join them every now and then.

On Fuji they do a certain part of the track backwards. Everyone lines up at the shadow of an overhanging beam and practice all night. INSANE slides an RX7 sometimes and East drifts a Maserati

Yea I know, the D1 Section. Insane also runs an S2000 GT1, mainly at tracks that arent Fuji or Tsukuba.
 
When i first started this game my friend sent me a lamborghini, a few days later when i got the hang of drifting it i saw that this room was open, i joined and noticed someone else was drifting the same lamborghini i was in. So i pulled mine out and started drifting with them till one of them rammed me straight into the side of one of the leaders. I only thought he was one of the leaders because then after that everyone of them in there stupid rx7 were ramming me off the road i didn't really mind because 2nd then 3rd gear i was outer their. They kept going till i lost my cool and brang out my dodge ram and then the tables had turned.... turns out that didn't like what they were doing to me and they kicked me.

Considering they restrict their rooms to RWD only, they had every right to kick you for bringing out an AWD dodge ram.
