If a true life car had the option of either an automatic or manual transmission, it should have the manual in a driving game. It's just that simple. 2-speed powerglide? No I'll take the Muncie thank you! Any driver who's had the pleasure of piloting a car with a standard shift transmission knows that an automatic just can't compare. They're Heavy lumbering souless dreary things and don't equate to fun.

A few excellent cars have been ruined by autos. Including but not limited to-

Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 '67
Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupe Premium '07
Plymouth AAR Cuda 340 Six Barrel '70

Are there any others? Do you Agree?

If a car in real life could be either auto or manual, it should be manual in-game (with the option to go auto). However, if a car was only auto in real life, then it should only be auto in-game.

You should have the choice

But note that is u chose AT you suck

(Unless your under 18 and can't drive. We will let u off)

Why did you 8 disagree? I wonder if I wasn't clear. This isn't about the game controls, it's about the transmission itself. Autos have fewer gears and wider ratios (generally making them less fun) than there manual counterparts. Not to mention the lack of shifting animation in cockpit view which is all I use.

The '70 AAR should have a 4-speed, it just should. If GT was a drag racing game than autos would make more sense but it aint, and it don't.
