The Compagno was the first 4-wheel passenger car from Daihatsu and the production started with a 797 cc in 1963 and in 1965 an other optional engine was announced, the 958 cc :)

Powertrain: 958 cc , Inline-4 , single Mikuni Kogyo BS W36 2-barrel carburetor , 65 hp / 6500 rpm , 77 Nm / 4500 rpm , 4-speed manual

Dimensions: Length 3795 mm , Width 1445 mm , Height 1410 mm , Weight 790 kg

Performance: Top speed 145 km/h , 0-100 km/h 15 sec

Yes that was one of the reasons I suggest this car and because it's one of the first 4-wheeled cars that Daihatsu made :P
