I took all 3 out to Suzuka Circuit. Straight from the dealership, no oil changes, all given Sport Hard tires. Let's see how they got on, shall we?

X4
0.7L
118 hp / 7,000 rpm
94 ft-lb / 5,000 rpm
840 kg
363 pp

CX 2WD
1.0L
57 hp / 6,000 rpm
69 ft-lb / 3,500 rpm
840 kg
286 pp

CX 4WD
1.0L
57 hp / 6,000 rpm
69 ft-lb / 3,500 rpm
890 kg
277 pp

That X4 is truly out of this world. It's 20 seconds faster than the base cars!

Of course! The X4 was made as a "high performance" version of the Storia. It's supposed to be faster. The only thing wrong with it is that has too little power and torque to handle the AWD system; a major problem with most Japanese super compact and kei cars. As a FF it would be much faster and lighter.

The X4 was essentially a homologation version of the Storia for domestic rally races. That's why the engine is smaller than the other ones, so the turbo multiplication factor didn't push it past 1 liter of displacement.

I haven't actually driven the X4 stock, but I've been using it in 450-500pp races for a long time, total sleeper. It's not going to be the fastest car on track but it can win a lot of online races. You can get over 340hp from it and it doesn't weigh much at all, plus the 4wd gives it great traction. I think for 500pp I have it set to about 343hp @ 900kg, so it's power to weight ratio is higher than almost anything else at the same pp.
