Daily Race A

So after several months (nearly a year) I want to ask the question or postulate a thought on it.

Having played the GT series since day one but not really got in to sport I have mostly been frustrated but also enjoyed GT7.

I loved the daily race A races as they felt club sport level (my level) and taught you race craft in the early days. Now ratings aren't affected it's freed PD up to make well whatever they want but I massively miss the A days.

My reasons are simple, A "for me" felt like a great pathway to better driving and car control. Then step up to race cars, then the fast stuff. Whilst I love the random nature of A races these days they sort of fall short "for me"

Am I alone in this?

Not sure what you're really asking here. Daily A still is typically road cars. Are you saying since there is no more DR/SR in A, it's not good anymore?

Honestly, I've found no more dirtiness in Daily A than I do in B or C. The people who want to race for the sake of racing, or want to crash people for the sake of crashing people, don't care whether or not DR/SR are effected, in my experience.

I've had some fantastic races at Daily A, post DR/SR removal. I've also been punted in Daily B and C even though DR/SR is effected.

So, yea... just go race in A and don't worry about it.

No, the point was it wasn't ranked anymore....

The fact I missed lower tier cars and ranked races?

In my opinion, race A should feed B and C in terms of learning. I'm not sure what people learn from unranked weird tyre choices and being able to ram or quit.

My whole post was it's become about unranked when it wasnt, so sure....thanks for the advice but read the whole thing.

I think most of us that participated in the Daily A races in Sport and 7 agree with you. There needs to be a place to competitively race road cars in the game - it's a unique skillset and is after all, what GT was heavily known for.

Alas, those days are gone, and are likely not coming back. We've all moaned a lot about it, it's been gone for ages now so there's not much more to say about it.

I'm 500th in the world right now on daily B....so it's not my lack of wanting to race. It's the fact I don't faun over the other races.
