I was about to ask if you took the Bimmer to an Audi meet, but then I remembered that you were in your friend's Elise. :p

How was the drive over to the track?

Wasn't too bad. That car definitely takes some guts to use it as a DD, though; it picks up every little bump.

The little "strips" they place on the lane dividers on some roads are nothing in regular cars, yet they feel like loud thuds in the Lotus. :scared: My buddy says the car tears up his back, but my legs took more of a beating as well. It's also a chore getting out than it is getting in.

I thought it was still an awesome car, though. Jealous as can be for it. :p

Oh yeah, I've been in an Elise, it's the worst for getting in and out!

Getting in: swing 1 leg in, throw your butt in the seat, swing the other leg over.
Getting out: still working on that. :p

I did learn that you should never use the A-pillar as a brace though because it's not made to cope with the weight & it's expensive to fix if a big enough person causes damage. :scared:
