This is the new one, there was the prius version...everything is pirated but I guess they deserve it a bit as they were charging 35 bucks for a demo!!!! money hungry suckers...10 bucks is ok for me but 35!!
 
Interesting - perhaps a way for Europe and the US to play the game anyway :trouble:

Do you need to modify the PS2 to play such a copy?
 
yes, you need to for all backups and imports, think its too bad you cant play imports normally :/

About warez / piracy - I guess it's become the way of society. I was guilty of piracy for quite a while until one day I realized how ignorant and selfish I was being. I had literally hundreds of apps that I knew I'd never use. I downloaded them just because I could.

Now it's rare that I download anything illegally. I can either find something else or get what I need through work. I guess my one exception is my corporate copy of Win2k. But screw Microsoft (:

It's kind of the way of society though. People take what they want without regard to the creator / owner. And it seems most of the time they don't necassarily need what it is they're taking. Music (mp3s) are the best example. People just take it because they can. And with software it seems it's become a game to people, "how much can I download". Appears to be good for the hard drive manufacturers (:
 
I know I could buy a ps2 but for all regions? Ah well my ps2 is chipped so screw you sony and im getting the original of prologue soon : )
 
the only reason this happens at all is the fact cmopanies charge 2 much for what they sell. I aint spending 30 pound on prologue and then spend 40 pound gettin the real game. And it would also help if they didn'nt keep so much of the good stuff 2 japan.

Ooops... Yes, I was talking about the Prius version, my mistake... anyway, I also think 35 bucks ia a bit too much but you don't see much demos with about 40 cars and 5 tracks on them... this "demo" alone is much more complete than a lot of games out there... If I could, I'd buy it, but since I'm in Europe :banghead:

Whenever I really like a game, an application or a movie, I buy it. I think that some (very few) companies deserve our support... If you can spend the money (something that doesn't always happen) why not? After all, they're the ones that spent days, weeks, months working for something that we do enjoy. I see it as a "Thank you very very much for you work"
