Minor language warning (just the last word in the video) in Portuguese.



It's a spruced up (understatement) M6 making it through the Vasco da Gama Bridge (18kms long bridge entering Lisbon from the south), a few miles from where I live.

The guys in the car that filmed this video were going at roughly 110/120kph.

The Lp640 in the video is way faster than the M6 in the other, but I found the M6 more enjoyable as you can actually see it when it does a flyby. :D
 
Nice one Beerz! I know the M6 guy, nice fella. His not a friend but i know him. That vid is about 2 years old for what i remember. But Bram i think thats fast lol, coz the car has a ECU and complete exaust system. He did 355kmh or 220mph i believe. Was amazed also when i saw that car hit the brakes it looked like he opened a parashoot lol. Porches brake really good but i gotta say that M6 is has good or better. Ive saw lots of cars go fast but braking like that never:)! Like 250kmh to 100kmh in 4 sec or so, OMG!!

It didn't look closed to me. They passed a couple of cars that were in the right lane and on the 214 run they said there was a car up ahead.

The highway wasn't closed, that sign was showing that exit was closed. There was one time he mentioned a car being in the way of going faster.

EDIT: The big-power R35s are out. Hennessey's Godzilla 700 kit has ran a 10.87 second quarter mile with a 2.8 0-60 without launch control.



It also sounds amazing. More like a Ferrari than a turbo V6.

It was not closed. The owner was found after this video made its way around the internet and sentenced to a few months in jail.
 
Okay, sorry then. I thought the sign said the highway was closed, and I assumed the other cars were support/camera cars.

Damn, that's a Z06? Could barely tell the car's colour, let alone the make and model...
 
Woooow at that Corvette! You can barely see it's a Corvette. Minimally you can distinguish it's silhoutte, but wow, that's fast!

At first, I thought the camera was inside the Corvette, and said to myself: "198mph?? You kidding me?". Then I lol'd.

Ever heard of motion blur? You can tell it's a Corvette just from the sound it makes. It's distinctly a v8.
