Anybody else loose a car in a trade last night (EST)? I was doing a trade with rampage917 yesterday. he sent his car over to me first..but it never arrived..I tried all the usual fixes, like closing and opening gt mode over and over again to no avail. Also on the main page it said gt academy servers had problems. I'm afraid this affected trading as well..I feel bad he lost his car..unless it magically appears in my community thing later today.. The trade involved me sending him a ford focus wrc 07 '08, and since i have 2 I'm thinking of giving one to him anyway... What do you think?

On the plus side you no longer have to every lose a car in a trade. Not when everything can be backed up before the trade.

Save your game, send him the car, then restore your game. He gets his car and you keep yours, just like you intended.

I don't think he backed up his save...I didnt either... I've done 2 other trades with my problems (diemess, Ricky7789)

Plus I dont duplicate, I play honestly...unlike other people

OK you're just a better person than those of us who have used an exploit. I can live with that.

But if you choose to "honestly" lose cars in trades when you can easily prevent it, then you really have no reason to curse PD. That's like driving off a cliff and cursing gravity for your fall.
