I am on the verge of crying. i mean, dont get me wrong, GT6 is a great game, but holy crap all the cars i was looking forward to driving are almost impossible to do so. look i dont want to talk about it now, but could someone please find me a;
Road leagal
^600PP or higher (once tuned)
And extreemly gripy and fun but easy to drive car?

The only reason i dont want to do it myself is because A: im about to go to bed and B: im REALY PISSED OFF WITH PD AT THE MOMENT!!! and this is the first time thats ever happened, im usually extreemly defencive for PD, but if it aint broke dont fix it. and dont give me that "just learn how to drive the car" crap because i just spent more than 2 hours tuning the huayra and learning how to drive it to no effect, then i drive the similarly performing R18 and guess what!!! I can drive it JUST FINE! all i want to do is drive my beutifully expensive freaking supercars but no, they just happened to have completely changed since GT5. i mean, i tried driving the huayra first, found it rediculouse, so was like, "maybe ill go buy the aventador because i remember that to be realy grippy in GT5', and it was almost as bad! WHAT DID THEY DO!!!!!?!!??????????!?!?!!!!!!?!??!????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???!?!???!????!!?!!!

on the plus side i just reached 500 kmh in the huayra! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! i couldnt even get that in the red bull!!!!!!!!

will check this out... was one of my faves in GT4 so i guess... if your wrong i hate you forever, i alredy spent 600,000 creds on the aventador... have you actually tested this in GT6? but i realy want it to be premium. just adds that extra wow factor...

Just like in every game I've driven it in. It understeers like a pig.

I found that overdoing it on the tire type will not help. In the historic IB race, I used the Ford Mark 1, the event says you can use racing hard, however I was much faster on Sport Softs. With Racing Hards you could not slide through a turn, with sport softs you can and it is faster.

I agree that the Huayra is a nightmare to handle (and I willingly admit that I am pretty crap at the game and only have a DS3). Not sure what settings you used but for me I did: Added -50 ballast (100KG I think) until balance was at 50-50 (and got Weight Reduction Stage 1 to compensate for the added weight), bought Racing Hard suspension, bought some Sports Soft tyres and, depending if you are a purist or not, had TCS set at 5 (I can't drive most of the cars with it less than that...shows how crap I am). With that setup I easily won the Ib championship (or is it Ia? Can't remember...whichever one has the Veyron in the championship needed before the Licence test) though you do need to be a bit gentle with it but at least it handles pretty well and doesn't spin at every corner. No idea on setup for anything less than TCS 5 as haven't tried.

Couple things, the Pagani is a handful to drive. I drove around Matterhorn and wow its lively. You have to truly feather the throttle and choose wisely the amount of steering lock you apply. But get it right and its rewarding. You drive that car in reality like you are in gt6 and the same thing will happen. And as far as the R18 handling better well I would imagine it would, its a race car aided by massive amounts of downforce and Audi Ultra weight saving technology. The Pagani has all precisely machined parts and active aero but is still a road car.

Tommykaira ZZII - Cheap and easy to drive.

/thread

this

also try the xbow or llc rocket they can keep up with most cars long as its not monza or any track with long straights
i used someones advice and won an event with the rocket against le man cars as i only pit once compared to them

Nissan GT-R?
Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Easy cars to drive. The physics are far better in GT6 than GT5, the simulation has to move forward. GT/Forza are already playing catchup to the PC sims and staying the same is not an option. You're wondering why a purpose build high downforce racing car is easier to drive than a road car, where is the logic in that?

These are cars built for comfort, built to follow the rules and regulations of the road, for everyday life. So while they are really powerful and really fast they aren't really designed to be raced. A few laps at a track for sure, but in real life they suffer from engine overheating, brakes overheating and due to their weight and softer suspension they are less responsive in the corners.

Road cars are basically slobs compared to a race car, even cars like the Mclaren MP4-12c where weight saving was prioritised. They still dumped the hydraulic suspension in favour of traditional springs for the Race Car, they stripped the weight out and of course the tyres are in a different league. Compare the road car to the race car of the 12c and only the chassis remains the same.

Road cars are a compromise, they drive fast but they aren't easy to drive fast like a race car.

err 700hp with hard suspension was NOT built for comfort!;)
but yeah i knew that the huayra woul have no-where near as much grip as the R18, but in all honesty, i thought that road cars were generally easier to drive than race cars, but wow i was wrong.

Hard suspension for a road car, but it's known to ride quite well and be pretty comfortable. Race cars have much harder suspension in comparison. The Huayra is probably an easy car to drive slow, but when you start to push it then it's gonna be wagging its tail all over the place, it's nothing compared to a racing car in handling. Racing cars are so stripped out, direct and precise.

If you look at a Huayra video being driven fast then as amazing as it is you still see it sliding and wobbling about, if you look at a DTM car for example the thing is just planted, you think you're braking late but you're still not near the limit of the car, the car has so much aero that the harder you drive the more planted the car is right up until the very edge.

Look how well behaved the DTM car is and the speeds he is driving, yet he's not even at the limit for the "real" difficulty to ever become an issue. Race cars are simply easier to drive than road cars because they are designed to be fast and stable, to allow the driver to attack with full confidence. I think that at the very limit is when things get difficult, and where it seperates the mid/lower fielders from the champions.
