Dancing robots...

I'm not sure which of sony's robots these are in the vid but it's 4 of them dancing. The movements were astonishingly fluid and there was nothing jerky about any of it. I almost laughed because it was sorta funny the way the things looked. I imagined a person hiding inside doing the dancing .

These creations are unbelievable. They seem to have many different reactions to light and movement (i.e, following the model down the cat walk and putting his arms up when the flash was going on the cameras).

The people who make these are seriously clever, and they these robots are the toys of the future

They are supposed A.I. according to what I've read. They are supposed to learn and understand things, but not go beyond a certain point. I think it's cool how they can be so well developed that they have feelings.

Yes, it's these robots that you have heard about. The biggest obstacle to making a machine run is that it has to lift off the ground completely. These robots when in running mode, lift off for 4/100ths of a second. Not mch, but enough to calssify it as running and not fast walking.
