I read the impression of gt4 at gamespot and PD said they haven't even reached the ps2's limits. Why don't they add weather effects? That would make gt4 more amazing and fun.
here's the impression
Looks like pits crews and animated crowds are confirmed :D

I read this article yesterday. I doesn't have anything new to add that we don't know already, except for that one item.

Three levels of AI-assisted driving aid to help newbies handle GT4 like us pros. I'm gonna turn that off, just like I do to all that other traction control and limited slip crap in GT3.

It still said 7th of January as the release date though. The article mentioned that as well, well, not exactly, but "sometime in 2004" can be the 7th of January, now can it. :D

well to make good weather effects, it might take abit more processor power than the PS2 has, or perhaps they dont have a good effect yet, or a good enough coding to do it yet. like the physics engine id guess with GT3. its still good, but they still could have improved it. but just because there was room to improve it, doesnt mean they know how to.

So that's easy medium and hard then?
No change there. :D

limited slip crap in GT3.

I've never considered the Limited slip diff a drievrs aid, well I suppose it is but it doesn't hinder your way through the corners (ok it can if you set it up wrong), i've found it come in handy sometimes.

I originally played GT3 on amateur aids when I got it (but didn't realise just thought GT3 was crap coz every car understeered) but later changed it to pro (no aids, yet cars still mostly understeer gah) yet every car I buy/win still has all the aids turned on :(

Anyone have any ideas why? And no I'm not gonna restart :)

Generally a harder suspension setting helps and make sure your front brakes are harder than the rear, also getting the dampers right is important so experiment with thoes alittle.

Yeah normally I just wack suspension hard on the rear to get it be more tempremental & stick on hard rear tyres.

Hmm brake balance I'll have to give that a go :)
