i tried to post a reply and my isp stopped responding [not unusual with my unreliable 56k] but after a couple of tries it came up with a page called database error

it said the www.gtplanet.net forum technical staff have been notified of the error but if the problem persists please contact them

There were too many connections to the database. I've made a few configuration changes so you should not encounter the problem any more.
