Day 1 edition DLC doesn't work?

Hello, guys, I'm from GTPlanet and just got an Xbox 360 along with Forza Horizon. It comes with the Day 1 edition codes that includes the SLS and the Challenger. They both don't work! Any ideas on why and if possible, how to fix it?

Expired probably. Considering the pre-order stuff is now available as paid DLC it wouldn't surprise me.

Or if you bought the game used, the codes will have been used.

I got the game new. But if its expired.....*sigh*
