giving up on this...started 4th...waited patiently until i got to 1st with half a lap to go...P2 punted me off to take the win leaving me last....never again

Same here. Done. I got side swiped 5 times and I got 5 one second penalties

yeah i abandoned this race too. Maybe not the best choice for the first friendly daily.

It happened for me today too. I was doing a race, starting 1st, and fighting with the guy which started 2nd. Suddenly, but not by anyone's fault, we crashed and went out, so our race was off.

Next race, I start 1st and the same guy 2nd. He wrote in chat something like "You again? F u". And in the first lap, he pushed me out on the long straight. He did the same with another guy some laps later, but at that moment he had a penalty and didn't win the race.

Is there any way to report him? Through the game or PSN service?

I guess these "mariokart" fools had not realized that their win DOES NOT COUNT in DR points and is just as legal as a lobby race where your win doesn't count officially

So far the most common causes for accidents that I've seen are people trying to go side-by-side through the corners, which isn't a smart move by any measure.

A lot of people aren't used to how dirty air impacts the car, resulting in them losing control, crashing into people higher up on the turn, or the lead car not expecting the bump draft, resulting in an unexpected jolt causing the car to get twitchy, again causing a crash.

A lot of these crashes aren't intentional, not to say that there aren't bad actors, but a lot of crashes are genuine accidents.

I love this race. Trying to avoid crashes is intense.

By the way, at my last count, the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday had eighteen cautions by the end of the race. Intense!

A lot of these crashes aren't intentional, not to say that there aren't bad actors, but a lot of crashes are genuine accidents.

The ones I've seen and been in the Americas have been severely deliberate

Every crash I’ve seen had been accidental best I can tell. It’s so easy to get a small weave on.
