holy jesus, just finished the nascar event and won every race until i came to daytona.
they destroyed me with their drafting prowess and thats fine, still won the championship

i was just wondering how could the lead car, who is under the same conditions as my car can be half a lap ahead of me when i have a tuned car?
im not sure if this is realistic or not but it seems only the nascars in the game have this weird ability to only run 70% of their top speed when drafting.
i still cant seem to reach top speed with my nascar and i need to draft to even be close to the other cars.

Did you have ABS on 1? If so, turn it to 0 and you'll win by a mile. ABS on 1 for some reason activate ASM too (effect NASCAR only)

I did the same thing as you...won the championship but came in last at Daytona. I then spent the next hour trying different tunings. Finally settled on a 230mph tranny setting and made sure I was in 2nd place at the start of lap 10. I put a move on the leader coming off the back straight and sling shotted to the finish.
