You need to run 1:37s to finish in just under 2 hours.

2:00 finishing time is the time AFTER the leader has crossed the finish line when the game fades out. I increased it to 2 minutes so everyone can finish their lap.

The time that the race will take will be closer to 3 hours. 87 laps, GT2 average lap will be just under 2 minutes with pit stops and traffic etc.

With a 3 hours race, calling pit stops "optional" is a bit... strange?

Anyway, I am really looking forward to know how this performs. I really hope that in the future my driving skills and consistency will allow me to participate in something like this!

Sorry, that was copied from our regular race thread. We have some 1 hour races with mandatory stops, some with optional. But if you are good enough you can save fuel to make it the 3 hours- good on you!
