DD Base or Load Cell brakes which do you recommend ?

OK, which will improve my sim racing ability (or lack of it ,ha!) a new set of pedals that has a load cell, or a DD wheel base. I can only get one. I currently have a CSL elite base and Thrustmaster t3PA pedals. How much more does having a direct drive give you a feel of what's happening with the car? I hear the load cell pedals make a pretty big difference, but is that much different then having the t3PA pedals set very stiff? Thanks in advance.
 
CSL Elite base is pretty good so get a load cell.
The transition from position-based, long-travel pedals to pressure-based, shorter-travel pedals is difficult for some people and they start wondering how to make the load cell work like their old pedals instead of adapting.
