Perhaps you should put back your like in, I just found out this thread can still be saved if the OP decides to put "289 cid V8" in the title.

The Mangusta was originally fitted with a Ford 289 V8 engine but in the North American market the Mangusta was introduced with a Ford 302 V8 engine, the specs the OP of this thread mentions refer to the 289 while the specs the other thread mentions refer to the 302, in the end, these two threads aren't duplicates at all, except for the bad titling which should have been more specific.
