The purpose of this thread:
We are 4 students that study Production Technology which means we learn to develop various products.
We have just started a new project with and we are talking about developing a racing seat/frame for gaming.
All the available gaming seats are either really expensive or looks very fragile or are too large and take alot of space. We personally haven't tried any kind of gaming seat so that's why we need you guys.

Your age choices are broken, so I just picked the closest to mine. You seem to be getting at a multi-use sort of stand, but let me ask you? Do you really think people want to mount the wheel up each time the stand changes functions? The stand should be the stand and nothing more. All your efforts should be focused on stability rather than dual purpose.
 
If dual porpuse doesnt affect cost I cant see the harm... Im 38 so I chose 31-30 :D
Its a prospection on market so they can ask anything... like would you like if it was possible to convert you racing seat into a fridge but given the answers I doubt they you actually do that... so if you think its not a good idea answer the questions...
 
It would have been better to simply find 20+ simracing related forums, start up a thread and ask every single person to write down their ultimate rig.

then collect the data and you would get a pretty clear image on what the customer really wants and demands.
