Any other Deadliest Catch fans here?

I finished watching S6 this weekend and was reminded just what a great series it is (I had watched sporadic episodes of S5 and S2). I still cant get my head around how they work in such miserable conditions – 18hr shifts in 25 foot seas, 50 knot winds an sub zero temps. Its mental – and if you get injured, it’s a case of ‘suck it up son and get on with it’. One has to admire the cameramen too – they put up with the same conditions, but have to concentrate on filming too and not getting in the way of the fishing crew.

I’ve also got to say that the intro credits and music pairing is just epic. Could they have found a more appropriate song – I cant imagine so. 👍

I cant wait for S7 to begin in early April.

never watched it myself, but i never really understood what was so great about filming people who are at work.

Maybe those fisherman treat the brutal tides like a game.. "Bring it on, Ocean! I ain't scared of your tides! Gimme a Tsunami or something!"
