Dealership car? 370z? lol

i just noticed that the car on the Dealership front is a 370z(i think), however you can not buy a 370z in the game! am i the only one that finds this wierd? :S or is the photo of a Fairlady z? anyone knows? what's the main difference between these cars? the name, lol? ^^

EDIT: the fairlady i'm talking about is the '08!

You can buy a Nissan 370Z (in the dealership) in GT5. I got one myself... :sick:

where? :sick: i can't find one! i have the academy version if that's what you're talking about, and i belive you can't buy that one! ;D

Don't you think that you can check the Nissan dealership one more time? After all there's only around 10 different premium Nissans. 👍

I have checked it, and i can't find any 370z, but the z34 looks just like the 370z!
 
Z34 as far as I know is the model code, similar to R35 being the name of the newest skyline, or MKV GTIs or something. Fairlady is what I believe they are often called in other markets. If you bought the Z34 Fairlady, that's the 370Z in the US.

A lot of the cars in the game are called different things as they may have modeled a version from a different country. The name may change, or the drive side in the case of premium cars. Sometimes there are HP differences as well. In some cases they've modeled the US version as well as the EU or JDM versions for same car.

After a quick wikipedia look, Fairlady is the Japanese (JDM) name for the car, while here in the US they're sold as a 350Z or 370Z. The model code (Z33, Z34) would be the same anywhere, but isn't often used by general consumers.

I mostly troll here but I thought I would gove my 2 cents....As said previously the Fairlady Z is for markets other than USDM. In fact it has been like that since the beginning with the 240Z. In the US there were Datsun 240z, 260z, 280z, Datsun 280zx, Nissan 280zx 300zx, 350z, and 370z. In japan they were all Nissan FairladyZ. Believe it or not it was named after the Broadway musical of My Fair Lady.
