Decals vanishing off of multiple cars

Apologies in advance if this has been covered somewhere else, but I can't find it

About 6 of my cars that I've checked so far that I've customized (I have 247 and not enough patience to go through them all yet) have decals that have vanished. I have not deleted any of the said decals from my library. Any idea why they just go away?

If the person who uploaded the decal deletes it from their Library, it will be removed from your Livery. But only when you access it in the Livery editor to make future changes. If it’s already applied to a car, you’re fine.

It’s annoying, I know.
 
Ah ok that makes sense. I was guessing that with the user/delete decal thing, but glad to hear it's still there when you race it. I brought them up in livery editor and about crapped myself lol.
