Default font size?

I've come to the realization that neither size 3 nor 4 are the same as default, rather that they are smaller and larger respectively.

Now, I try to change the font size for specific content once I've typed it, but on the occasion that I inadvertently change the size mid-post, is there a way to specify a size that matches default?

You can use the "eraser" icon to remove all formatting from text in the editor. It looks like this:

It is the second-from-the-right icon in the post formatting toolbar.

And then re-apply any formatting I wish, fantastic!
