Hey everyone
Couple of days ago I received my lovely new Fanatec Carrera 911 wheel. It's proving to be a great bit of kit so far!
Anyway, I decided that I'd pick up a PS3 and GT5 at last after being an avid Forza/LFS player for many years. I've got a couple of questions though.
I'm playing only using the standard setup set to 720 sensitivity, 100ffb (in game settings - power steering on, 10ffb) and was wondering if I could get some help setting the wheel up. I'm finding it okay for racing but I can't really feel and FFB despite having it on the highest setting.
Also, I'm a big fan of drifting (I used to drift an MX5 in real life until very recently) however when trying to drift in GT5 the countersteer on the wheel feels very slow. Usually I'd let the wheel spin itself, then grab it and control it. Using this method is painful as the wheel turns so slow that by the time you've got it in the position you want, the car spins out!
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm looking forward to becoming an active part of the community.
