Yes your eyes are not deceiving you this car is real. It's a Delahaye but reskinned by those French maestro Saoutchik.

I had this really long and complicated history lesson all lined up about Saoutchik but you know what, I'll let the pics do the talking.

Whew.
This car must be a candidate for the most beautiful car in the history......
You want specs? They are not that spectacular, as is expected, but you can pretty much guess that outright performance wasn't, and still isn't, what this car is all about.

Engine: 272 c.i. /4.4l inline 6, 165 bhp
Transmission: 4-speed Cotal Pre-selector

Interestingly enough, it had rather fancy suspension package and motor itself was a bit fragile, as it was apparently race-spec (??!!); the owner of this car in the 70s got fed up with the maintenance, and did something unthinkable: he chopped off the entire front section of chassis and replaced it with parts from GM Toronado, converting this car into a FWD....wait what??

Thankfully an owner back in the oughties reunited the car with its original engine and fully restored it. Last I heard it was sold in a Monterey auction for a cool $3.3 mil.

As usual I'd appreciate anyone with more info on this car. Cheers!!

Oh and thanks to @StarLight for the inspiration!!:D:tup:

Here's the link for the other Saoutchik I found on GTPlanet so far:

One of the best looking cars Ive seen in a while, how many did they produce?

I was looking over this car only a couple of days ago while sorting through some Classic & Sports Car magazines. Beautiful machine.

Gorgeous car and I like the blue color (it's like a speedboat).
Good choice!

Only one, I think. It was a coach-built one-off, and its first owner was an British actress, Diana Dors. And yes, she was every part as hot as the car itself.

See the door's eagle? Yup, same car. That's Diana.
Nice picture. 👍

Oops, forget to click on the like button ... just did it now. :O

............Changed some pics in the OP, as two photos just refused to show themselves no matter how I pleaded and begged....Ah well.

You got my vote. This is surely the most beautiful car from before the 50's.

Oh my god, I desperately want this in the game now.

I don't mind having to pay 20.000.000 Cr or even 50.000.000 Cr hell!
